New York, New York; so good they named it twice. This April my family took me on a weekend getaway trip to the empire state to welcome me into adulthood. I feel utterly blessed to have spent my 18th birthday in this majestic urban city!

New York is one of those places that I hold very dearly. I envision it from bellow the tapestry of the night sky, woven with silver speckled stars and charcoal clouds, where the moon hangs brightly, illuminating the concrete jungle of the city. Its skyscrapers reach into the twilight with out-stretched fingers like metallic tree branches.  In the midst of the deathly grey and the yellow taxis that whizz around the streets, I have never felt so alive.

We managed to cram in Elis Island, New York’s infamous tourists sites, the MOMA and on my request; Williamsburg. Here on some moments I captured on my four day trip to the city that never sleeps.
